Hi, I’m Jess and I’m the owner and founder of Pretty Casual :) I started this brand in September 2017 after I had spent 4 years studying an LLB. At the end of my degree I attempted law school which would have taken a year off of articles but I knew I didn’t want to be a lawyer so I dropped out after 3 weeks. I came up with all kinds of ideas of things I was going to do instead of being a lawyer but the only one that stuck was this clothing brand :) I wanted to create happy, colourful and comfortable clothing that would give people another reason to smile. It might sound odd but when I see someone wearing fun and colourful clothing it makes me smile, so I wanted to create and spread more of that :) 

This brand has been inspired by clothing I grew up in as a kid and by beautiful Mother Nature. I love how happy and colourful and fun kid’s clothing is and I've never been able to find anything similar to what I grew up in as a kid in an adult's version, so I decided to make my own. This brand will never be about keeping up with fashion trends, but rather the focus will be on creating pieces that are timeless and that always make you smile :) Items that are fun, happy and playful!
